16th Grito de Mujer/16th Woman Scream Poetry Festival

Join us for a bilingual reading at Modesto Junior College featuring poets from Mexico, Los Angeles, and the Central Valley. Part of the International Grito de Mujer ® Festival which takes place every March, this event is a link in a chain of simultaneous events in more than 30 countries. The 2026 theme, “Without Boundaries,” is a tribute to Immigrant Women and Girls. We invite you to be in community with us on March 19 to imagine a better world for girls and women.
