Join the Latina Leadership Network as they welcome Dr. Nunez-Pineda, a California Central Valley native who has served in various professional leadership roles. Most of her career has focused on leading efforts related to family & community engagement. She is currently working at the Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE), where she leads the Statewide Family Engagement Center's mission to advance efforts that support students by building strong family-school partnerships. These partnerships promote educational excellence and equity within California's Educational system. The Family Engagement Center is a national initiative in partnership with the United States Department of Education.
