Celebrate Pi Day at the L & LC

Join the L&LC and the School of Mathematics, Engineering, and Science as we celebrate π, everyone's favorite never-ending number!

While Pi Day officially falls on Saturday, March 14 this year, we're bringing the festivities to you on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 so everyone can join in the fun. The celebration will take place in the afternoon at the West Campus Library & Learning Center, upstairs at Yosemite Hall.

Pi Memorization Contest

Test your memory skills in our annual Pi Recitation Contest! How many digits of π can you memorize? Participants will compete to see who can recite the most digits of this infinite number.

Prizes:

  • 1st Place: $25 Amazon gift certificate
  • 2nd Place: $15 Amazon gift certificate
  • 3rd Place: $10 Amazon gift certificate
